Topic: Big Bend National Park, coffee table book featuring 1940s photos

Joe Burgess brings to life the creation of the Big Bend National Park and the surrounding region with photographs and commentary straight out of the 1940s and 1950s. These never before seen photographs accompany comments written by Joe’s father, Glenn Burgess, and captured on film using his 4” x 5” sheet-film camera. The presentation is based on Joe’s new book featuring his father’s photographs and comments.

From the sale of each book, five dollars will be donated to the Governor Dan Moody Statue project.
